Implementing Strategies To Help You Live A Sustainable Life

At Mentors Who Move, we believe that sustainable living is a key component of building a better future for ourselves and our planet. That's why we offer a range of coaching services designed to help you implement strategies for a more sustainable life. When it comes to sustainable living, we understand that it's not just about making small changes here and there. It's about making fundamental shifts in the way we think and live. That's why we offer coaching in three key areas: mind, body, and soul.

Our mind coaching services are designed to help you gain confidence in your academic or professional pursuits. We help you tap into your left brain to develop analytical and logical thinking, while also teaching you how to interact with your right brain to enhance creativity and innovation.

Our body coaching services help you connect with your physical self, providing a template for understanding your life. By understanding your body and its needs, you can make informed decisions about your health and well-being, as well as how to live a more sustainable lifestyle.

Finally, our soul coaching services are focused on helping you connect with your inner self. By developing your right brain, you can tap into higher levels of creativity, originality, and independence. We also teach you how to integrate this with your left brain, creating a more balanced and fulfilling approach to life.

At Mentors Who Move, our coaching services work together to create a holistic approach to sustainable living. By connecting the mind, body, and soul, we help you make sustainable choices that not only benefit you but also the planet. Join us today and start your journey towards a more sustainable future.

The Sustainable Pathway To Homeownership

Mentors Who Move, in partnership with SCG, is taking a bold and innovative approach to homeownership that promises to transform the traditional model of property ownership. This forward-thinking concept is designed to support Environmental Social Governance and Resilience (ESG&R) by promoting sustainability and minimizing the impact of human activity on the environment.

Under this unique build-to-rent model, the communities will offer a plethora of features that promote sustainable living and foster a sense of community. One of the most notable features of these communities is the use of solar panels and smart technology to conserve energy and reduce carbon emissions. By reducing the amount of energy used, the cost of utilities will be lower, allowing residents to save money while living more comfortably.

Environmental

Environmental goals within the context of sustainable homeownership involve reducing the impact of human activity on the environment.

This includes using renewable energy sources such as solar panels and using rainwater harvesting systems, reducing water usage through low-flow fixtures, and promoting sustainable gardening practices through the use of biowales, BioChar, and rooftop gardens.

"A strong economy causes an increase in the demand for housing; the increased demand for housing drives real-estate prices and rentals through the roof. And then affordable housing becomes completely inaccessible"

-William Baldwin

What Other Features Will The Communities Have

Another exciting feature of this concept is the use of biowales, BioChar, rooftop gardens, and rain tanks for water conservation. These features will not only help preserve the environment but also provide residents with the opportunity to engage in sustainable gardening practices. They will be able to grow their own fresh produce and herbs, which will not only benefit their health but also provide a source of income.

Furthermore, these communities will be equipped with EV chargers, making it easy and convenient for residents who own electric cars to charge their vehicles. Additionally, there will be an outdoor gym, community gardens, walking paths, and a dog park, all of which will promote social interaction and a sense of belonging among residents.

To ensure the smooth operation of these communities, the HOA management will oversee all utilities, maintenance, and resident education. They will ensure that all buildings and property managers meet specific criteria to reduce environmental impacts and increase the health and wellbeing of the residents.

Mentors Who Move and SCG's innovative approach to homeownership is a promising step towards a more sustainable future. By prioritizing sustainability and community, they are taking a proactive approach to reducing the impact of human activity on the environment. Through this build-to-rent model, they are providing a unique opportunity for people to experience the benefits of homeownership while living sustainably and fostering a strong sense of community.

Health

Proactive Not Reactive / Lifestyle Approach

A healthy person typically desires hundreds, if not thousands, of things in life, whereas an unhealthy person is primarily focused on just one thing - their health. Unfortunately, if the current trend persists, it's predicted that by 2030, half of all Americans will be without good health. Over 50% of Americans will be chronically ill, and an equal number will be obese.

If we want a better world for our children, it's essential to take steps to change this trend. One way to do this is to help children develop a strong emotional connection to their wellness. This includes fostering a connection to nature, their bodies, and their emotions.

Dieting or hitting the gym may not be enough to bring about the necessary changes. Instead, we need to address the root causes of symptoms and allow nature to heal the mind, body, and soul. By taking a holistic approach to health, we can build a healthier and happier society for future generations.
